Food kind of subpar. It LOOKS and SOUNDS great on the menu but seems to fall short for me. I got a Reuben sandwich there once and it was a sloppy mess drowning in thousand island dressing. I could only eat half if it and ended up just picking the meat out and leaving the rest of the slop on my plate. But on the other hand I've had the grilled chicken sandwich that was pretty good and their burgers are good. The bar area is the only way to go.. Nice vaulted ceilings and lots of TVs. The only things I really like about this place are: 1. They have tater tots!!!! 2. They are a microbrewery!! 3. Bar area has great atmosphere! Food: 2 stars. Beer: 4 stars.

My family has been going to CB & Potts since I was a young kid. We always have great service and rarely have to wait, and I mean rarely. Their menu selection is large - ranging from salads and soups to burgers and steaks. My dad loves the Potts chips, an alternative to fries! If they take something off the menu, they most likely still have it so ask! Wait staff always recognizes us! They also have tons of room for large parties. They have different events different nights, I know trivia happens weekly. Also a super close walk to Fiddlers Green Ampitheater if you wanted to catch a pre-show bite and brew. Full bar, we always sit in there! Mug club for regulars and comes with a yearly mug! They also send out bogo entrees and deals in their emails, who can complain! Great neighborhood sports bar, they never let us down:) They also just re-did their menu to include a gluten free section. Accommodating to a family with food allergies. If you're not gluten free, try the pretzel bun! It's delicious

After visiting several C B & Potts, this location is probably my least favorite. The food and beer is good --- plus the location can't be beat if you are in the DTC. But if you are in a hurry to catch a movie, I suggest visiting after the flick. Service has been OK, but the servers are a bit stretched at times. TIP: Lunch time seems to be a bit faster than happy hour.

YUCK! The food here is the worst I've ever had! I skipped the hotel bar to eat at a local joint. The inside looks pretty cool, but that is where the positives end. I order a beer and the waitress spills it in the table and isn't the least bothered to wipe it down or apologize. She proceeds to take an order from the next table, and I am left wiping the spilt beer from the table, and I had to ask another hostess to get me some more napkins to wipe the spilt beer. I figured this is Colorado and the steaks will be good. Boy was I in for a surprise. The NY strip came with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The steak was insipid, and never have I had a steak not taste acceptable for consumption. I force myself to eat a third of it as I was starving, but the bad steak made me lose my appetite. I guess I'll fill myself on the mashed potatoes and vegetables - if you can call them that. The mashed potatoes seem to be made from powdered stuff and taste horrible, really horrible like from a instant cardboard box type! The vegetables were bland, and not worth it. This place is better off being shut down, as it cannot seem to serve edible food. Next time I'd rather head to a Chilis or heck even a Cheesecake Factory than make the big mistake of CB & Potts and it's rude waitstaff!

I came here for a company dinner. They had a private room blocked off for us located in the back with our own private bar. There were 3 large flat screen TV's which were turned on to the channels of our choice and even offered to turn on the volume if needed. Service was extremely nice and accommodating and made sure we were taken care of. I only had a glass of wine. Wine selection was very limited. The company ordered appetizers for us - I only had a mozzarella stick, chicken nachos, and spinach and artichoke dip. Mozzarella stick was ok, Chicken Nacho was mediocre, but I did enjoy the dip! Must be the fatty in me. For my entree, I had the New York Steak with mushrooms with seasonal vegetables and a loaded baked potato. I wanted it loaded, but with the sour cream and butter on the side. Unfortunately the waitress may have misheard me because it came naked with just the sour cream and butter on the side. No biggie - she was able to give me cheese and green onions later. The steak.. which I requested to be cooked medium rare, was cooked medium and was extremely dry. I had to eat it with A1 steak sauce which is a big no no. The vegetables tasted frozen and well, you can't really mess up a baked potato now, can you? My table did share the Mile High Mud Pie and YUM! That was quite delicious. I limited myself to just a couple of bites. It was definitely worth the extra calories! My co-worker had the Gluten Free Grilled Chicken and she said it was extremely dry. See a trend here? Don't come expecting a delicious dinner but I can see how it could be a popular place to watch a game.

If you're looking to watch a game, you found it. If you're looking for mass produced food you'd find on a cruise then you found it. If you're looking for some beer mistakes then you found it. This place is so big I think they lost the essence of what they were hoping for. So mr Potts, I'd say go back to the drawing board and and make some food. Rumors are there was a bad report back from your food inspection. That's just my 3 stars.

I love brew pubs. The great beer compliments the great food here. Can't go wrong here on either the beer selection or from the menu. Me? I'm having a flight of their own brews and an open faced burger that's too big for a top bun!

We were here last night after my car needed to be towed. I was STARVING, so in fairness this review might be a bit tainted by how cold and hungry I was when we walked in. We ordered two sodas, the beer dip appetizer, one salad and a french dip which we decided to split. The salad came out in about 5 minutes and my fiance was able to eat it almost completely before the appetizer came out. He is a super slow eater, so it was a WHILE before we saw our appetizer. The frustrating part was that I didn't even have a chance to take a bite before our french dip came out. The french dip then became cold while we ate our way through our appetizer. By the time I got to the cold sandwhich and french fries, I discovered that the sandwhich lacked flavor which was only somewhat remedied by the salty au jus (which I typically never use) and the fries were all the same texture throughout indicating too short of a cooking time. Next time I'm cold, hungry and craving a french dip, we'll go to Village Inn. This place seemed like the nicer alternative, but after the experience it was just more expensive and less good.

Came here for dinner last night and were pleased to catch the tail end of Happy Hour. We were seated in the quiet restaurant side and pretty well had it to ourselves for the majority of our visit. Service was very friendly and prompt. Our drinks were never empty and our server made sure our every question was answered. The menu is full of delicious options and both my friend and I exclaimed that it has been a while since having such a hard time deciding what to eat. I tried the turkey cobb burger and was very pleased with my choice. It was very tall and half of my avocado ended up sliding out on to my plate, but it was delicious. The turkey burger is processed and so it's a bit more like eating a sausage patty. That being said, it was very juicy and well seasoned. The homemade fries are thick cut and delicious and so be sure to save room for them. My friend had a burger on a pretzel bun with bacon and cheese sauce (can't remember the name). It was perfect and well enjoyed as well. Overall we enjoyed our visit. Prices are reasonable and service was excellent!

Went to a catered event here the other night. I mainly just ate wings (which were solid!) but other than that I can't say much about their food. However, I tried a few of their beers and they were great! My favorite was the Hefeweizen, which was tangy and delicious, with almost a Saison-like finish. Really refreshing. The bar area was pretty cool, but pretty big, not the intimate experience that some breweries offer. Great experience overall though.

The ribeye was loaded with fat. This should never have been served. Quite disappointing

  • Sara E.

Ah this was delicious! The other location had great food but disappointing service. This location was rockin both. The burger was luscious. The appetizer was luscious. The dessert was beyond luscious. Great service too! Coming back (to this location). *(slight annoyance) smoking "area" is right outside the front doors so you have to pass through a haze of smoke just to get in

Used to frequent this place in the late 80's early 90's when working at the tech center. Not much has changed, besides less pool tables and now non smoking. Watched the Bronco's beat the Raider's and had a fun time. Lots of TV's and good micro beer and plenty of seating with views for games. The food was OK, split a burger ordered medium well and half came out closer to rare and the other half was OK. The queso was very good and the beers came fast and cold. Bronco's won so it was a good time at a big chain sports bar.

We were really disappointed with the food here. I had the French Dip and my son had the BBQ meatloaf sandwich. Both were just not very good. My French Dip while huge had no flavor. The roast beef was dry and tasteless. My son's meatloaf sandwich was also dry and didn't have much flavor to it. I guess that we were both expecting something better based on other reviews. We won't be returning here, there are lots of other places to go that have much better food.

This was my first time visiting a CB and Potts and the service (or lack thereof) ruined the entire experience. We went for lunch this wknd and service wise it was lackluster, starting from when we stepped through the door. The hostess was working on something and had her back to us and looked inconvenienced to help us out. We told her we were going to the bar area to eat and she followed after us with menus after telling us to feel free to sit wherever. We sat and waited for our server, who finally greeted us and got our drink orders. After that we waited and waited for our drinks while two other tables got refills and beer orders. She came back with our drinks and was more meh than anything, got our order and didn't show any personality or really any interest (they do still work for tips, yes?) It just set an awkward tone for our visit there. That and one of the servers who was also working the bar area walking around sipping a drink while going in and out of the bar area. We saw that Sundays are BOGO 50% on burgers and chicken sandwiches so that was the plan. It was somewhat of a deal with their burgers pricing in the $9-$12 range. We got our food in a timely order and the burgers were absolutely fantastic! I got the Hillbilly burger (oddly enough while wearing my West Virginia shirt) and it was a dream for me since not only was it topped with bacon but a heaping pile of gorgonzola to boot! Miss Personality didn't come back to do a check back to see if everything was cooked right or what we ordered so that was a bit of annoying. Again, like the hostess she just seemed inconvenienced by us. It's a shame too b/c the bar area is ideal for seating if you want to catch a game and food tasted great and was a terrific value but the service ruined the entire experience for us. PS-Free Wifi if your heart desires.

This place is super fun for a "good ole hangout night at the bar." I visited Denver for the first time and my friends took me out here to chat and watch the Broncos game. There are many nice things about this place: lots of good seating for TVs, a pleasant atmosphere that is not too loud, it is a microbrewery with plenty of beers on tap, and yummy appetizers. The spinach dip is the best appy that I tried...the food is pretty similar to most American bars in terms of quality, quantity and taste. My favorite beers I tried were the Blonde Ale and Hefeweizen. I recommend coming here during happy hours Monday - Friday 3pm - 6pm and everyday 9pm-Close. Great atmosphere for watching sports!

This has always been one of my favorite stops when we stay overnight in Greenwood Village. Food is always hot and tasty, drinks are good. Price has become something of an issue. I don't remember it being so expensive before, but we took the kids with us this time. 4 burgers, 1 beer, 1 cocktail and 2 strawberry lemonades cost us over 70 dollars. Overall, the food is very good, drinks are very good.

A good hang out spot. They have a designated sports bar area with a whole lotta media coverage and a restaurant further inside the building. Its a great place to go with a group of friends to watch a game. And they have a great beer selection. My favourite is the pale ale 71. Order me a tall one and just sit back and relax.

I had a list of places that I wanted to visit during my trip to Denver last week. C.B. & Potts was not originally on the list, but I ended up there after a very late night in the office. I tried to visit Parry's Pizza but their kitchen had already closed. Since I still needed dinner I quickly remembered that C.B. & Potts was nearby and headed there instead. This was not my first time at C.B. & Potts Denver Tech Center location. It was actually a regular spot for my wife and her coworkers for happy hour during our years living in Denver. The building is a little hard to find off of Arapahoe Road, but as you drive up Greenwood Plaza Boulevard the large barn like structure is hard to miss. The inside is very tall and wide open and they claim to have Colorado's tallest bar, for whatever that's worth. C.B. & Potts is a Colorado chain of brew pubs and is part of the Big Horn Brewing Company, one of the largest brew pub companies in the country. They also operate the Ram Restaurant & Brewery with locations in Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Oregon, and Washington. Their beer is very approachable and fits well within each style definition. It's good beer but definitely not my favorite in town. On this visit I ordered the chicken amber ale sandwich ($10.99) The chicken breast is marinated in their brewers' top secret Amber Ale marinade and then topped with porter BBQ sauce, slaw, tomato, onion crisps, and roasted tomato-chipotle mayonnaise all served on a pretzel bun. I really enjoyed this sandwich with a very unique combination of flavors. The pretzel bun was not actually pretzel shaped, but that was nice as it seemed to hold up better to the various sauces. I added sweet potato fries for $1.29 extra and was given a massive, perfectly cooked pile on the side. C.B. Potts wasn't my first choice for dinner, but I could have certainly done a lot worse. Good, approachable beer is on tap with a side of great tasting food.

After a movie, it seemed the most logical place to have a quick bite on a early Sunday afternoon. It was right across the parking lot, so why not. I have not been to this particular location in quite a long time and I think I remember why. We honored the wait to be seated sign and stood there a good 10 mins before anyone came over to ask what we wanted. Well let me see, we kinda want to have a bite to eat. She laughed nervously and asked where we wanted to sit. I motioned to a table not to far from where we were standing in the dining room. Oh the dining room is closed right now. Why the heck did you ask then? We went into the bar and sat with the group of kids... yes.. kids at the bar and the few others that were scattered there. We placed our order and it wasn't terribly long before it was delivered. I ordered the pulled pork potato skins. Over all they were nothing to rave about. There was perhaps a strand of pulled pork on each one. I guess I had expected a bit more since they were recommended by the server. They were also a bit dried out, over cooked, or salamander-ed as the case may be. My friend Marks' burger was a bit better. I had a bite. It was a nice medium rare as ordered. The onion straws weren't greasy and the salad they brought instead of fries was a decent portion. It's close to the movie theater but I can certainly see making a different decision after the next movie.

This place is not a sports bar.....It's a Sports Cathedral!!!! You walk in and it feels like you are walking into Notre Dame and the one in Paris not South Bend. Except that it had gigantic TV's and vaulted ceiling with boozed filled rafters to the ceiling. Let's get to the food and drinks.....Well happy hour starts eeearrllyy. 3pm that's a good happy hour. They had $3.25 Long Islands and they were tasty. Even if they were bad they would still be tasty for $3.25. It comes in a carafe with a long straw so you don't look out of place at all. The food, well it was quite surprisingly good as well. I started off with a yummy cup of Tomato Basil soup and a House Salad. I believe they were both $3.99 ea and were very fresh. They even brought out the salad in a chilled bowl ( I like that). For the main course I had a 5 oz salmon filet blackened with 2 sides of veggies. The salon was perfect and mixed veggies were good, but the other side of veggies (broccoli) were very plain and it was like eating grass. Over 4 stars and I would definitely return on my next RON.

I have ZERO complaints about this place. The music was loud, but not too loud to have a conversation. The service was warm, friendly, accommodating and helpful. The food was absolutley delicious. The beer was ice-cold, with a plentiful selection. For the record, I had the Prime burger with french fries. Medium rare and perfect!

I must say, this is a hidden gem. It was only after a kind shuttle driven mentioned a good place to watch a game did we finally discover what will forever be known as CB & Potts... To start, this is a phenomenal menu... Diverse selection and a little pricey, but you pay for what you get. My burger was roughly $12 but it was huge! Oh, and did I mention the micro brews? I had a couple blonde ales and some pumpkin harvest beer and they were great. One that I sampled had a hint of cloves that I wasn't crazy about but then again, that is why you get to sample it! Moving on, the service was great, the atmosphere was fun, and food was delicious. Only negative was the price, but you can't win them all! Highly recommend!

  • Joel F.

The mold for sports/craft beer/pub fare was pretty much created around this place. You won't find anything wrong with the menu... but you're not going to plan your next celebratory night out here either! Fried and served with sauce...Check! Exhuberent server that can't wait to offer you a beer or dessert special...Check! Sports...Check! A great lesson in managed expectations. If someone says "hey wanna stop by Potts for a quick happy hour?" It's all good! If someone says"Hey it's _____ birthday, let's go out to Potts!" That is a RED FLAG. Pros: consistency, food is ok, happy hour beers are big and tasty Cons: It's another Chotchkie's.

  • Bill R.

I have visited this Potts nearly every Friday for the last couple years for lunch with co-workers. The burgers and fries are consistently great. Fries are always perfectly done. Servers are always smiling and friendly. The beer is great. Only one time did I have a problem with the food when they cooked my steak to medium well instead of medium rare. They cooked me a new one, no problem, and then comped me the meal for good measure. We've been to most other sports bars in the Greenwood village area, and at most places, the food leaves a lot to be desired. At some, the burgers and fries are closer to McDonalds. Potts isn't 5-star dining, but it is a 5-star place for burgers, fries, and beer.

  • Shana H.

Yay! I actually had food tonight that I enjoyed. I still think they are expensive for no reason, especially when the average price of a mixed drink is $7.50, but I still enjoyed myself. I went to watch the UFC fights with a couple of friends and ordered the BBQ Bacon Cheddar Burger with regular fries for $9.99 and a Corona for $4.99 and don't forget the $5 cover they add to your bill. This is also a time I would have had trouble finding a table if a friend hadn't made it there before me. I'm presuming they were packed because a lot of the places nearby that usually showed the fights were having other events that conflicted with the fights so they were not showing them or the place has stopped showing the fight all together. My server was okay...nothing to brag about.

This place does not have olive oil. If you are someone who refuses to put vegetable oil or canola oil on your salad, don't order salad here (or bring your own olive oil).

    (2)
  • Jess M.

Went to get a burger and a beer after work here. The service left a lot to be desired. Maybe I just have bad luck with waitresses? The food and beer was great but it took FOREVER to get our beers and our burgers. It got to the point where we would ask for our next beer as soon as she set one down. That's how long it took to get the next one...

  • Fiasco A.

The food is slightly above avg. House beers are pretty good. The service was...interesting. Our waitress was clearly blazed off coke and drunk and was possibly the funniest and saddest excuse for service ive had in awhile. Avoid the cheese waffle fry thing as they oven bake already deep fried waffle fries making a hard brick of an appetizer. i will say the fish and chips was really good and the house salad was pretty solid. I went back a month later with my parents to watch a football game and found the atmosphere to be really good and the service improved since the trainwreck of a waitress we had a month prior wasnt around. Id give it another try, its good, not great.

We had a holiday party for our office on 12/20/13, and we had a great experience. Great appetizers and beer choices. All party members were pleased. The staff including the manager (Taylor) and our servers (Kaitlyn, Ashley, and Sandra) were all excellent! Thank you.

Went after a movie last night. Wanted tea or coffee. However the picture of the Bloody Mary with a salad on a scewer on top of the glass was tantalizing. Had to have it. It was tasty and the salad was fun and satisfyling. I have a great picture which I hope one day soon will appear in my photos. The service sucked. The place is a bit noisy but it is a bar. They did a good job on the bar and all in all its was perfect and close to the Greenwood movies. I am giving this a 2 as I did not eat but the salad so to speak on the top of the drink.

Been a while since I've written a review so I'm gonna try to knock out a few tonight... I was at CB & Potts last night. I found the beer to be awesome, but it was only my 2nd night in Colorado so I can't really compare it to all of the excellence available in the area. It was also very reasonably priced. I got a veggie calzone. I'm not a vegetarian by any means but I tend to be drawn to anything with sundried tomatoes, feta, or spinach. It was awesome, and I annihilated the whole thing. Service at the bar was great. I asked if we could get the Braves game on one of the TV's and almost fell off my stool when I was told "sure" and it was actually put on just a couple minutes later. Usually if you ask for an out-of-market game, even at a sports bar, people look at you like you just asked them for a lap dance. Or they may say "yes," but then nobody in the county knows how to change the channel. You have no reason not to try this place.

I went online to check out their menu from the hotel my mom stayed in recently. We just had no idea where to go and CB & Potts seemed like a good option since it was walk-able. We were really hungry also so even though from their web menu the fare didn't seem impressive, we went. OMG the food in person was so much better. How can one order a "Butt Face Burger" in the company of an 80-something mom with a straight face, haha. But I'm glad I did. It was late but the kitchen was still going strong. Our server suggested right away - without being pushy - that we order drinks since Happy Hour was about to end. She checked back with us frequently and had excellent knowledge of the food. The only thing with which I had issue was the loud TVs in the bar and that the server who took over our table after ours left had very little personality and was just interested in giving us the bill. Overall, really good. I'd been there before at the bar but didn't know there was a dining room and good food. I'd highly recommend the sweet potato fries.

As far as chains go, this place is pretty good. Their Faberge burger is excellent, and so is their hillbilly burger. If you are planning on getting a cuban sandwich, or "the Ricardo" ask for some jalepenos, these burgers are good, but kind of wimpy without a little kick. The bad thing about this place is their mixed drinks SUCK. I think they think the bloody mary (or proud mary as they call it) should be considered one of the crown's jewels by how much they advertise it in house that it kicks ass, but it is AWFUL!!! The best part about this drink is the garnish. I've tried it 3 times and never again. Their other drinks of pretty bad too, the long island is blah, and their dragonfly one is filled with too much ice.

Overall, I like CB & Potts. The beer won't blow you away but is always consistently solid across the board, and their menu is pretty extensive. I like their 2-course lunch specials, especially the french dip sandwich and their porter chili (which is really delicious). It's a great place to watch a game, as there are TONS of big TVs and plenty of seating in their huge bar area. And their happy hour is pretty solid too, with all their beers at $3. Their food is a bit pricy in my opinion, as I can go someplace more unique and local for a $13-$15 plate. But CB&P is a solid place for a casual lunch, to watch a game, or to hit up a happy hour after work.

I really struggled to come up with some interesting things to say about this restaurant that would be compelling and useful for someone that hasn't dined here before. It's almost a localized version of TGI Fridays with a few in-house brews. I had the carmelized onion garlic burger with garlic fries. I purposefully tried to find something really interesting on the menu that would awaken the senses. The hamburger was too small for the bun it was placed on. The meat was juicy and wasn't seasoned to be noticeable. The garlic fries were good but were too greasy to be enjoyable. That tells me the pan or fryer wasn't hot enough when the fries went in to give me a crisp fry. There really isn't anything that sticks out about my experience here. It's amazing just how out-of-the-way the restaurant has gone to be the middle of the pack. Perhaps 'Medians" would be a good name for this as it clearly wants to be exactly in the middle, and succeed at that they have! 3 stars - OK Food, 'Meh' service, 'Meh' beer. 'Meh' Rating. There's far better options in the vicinity. There is also far worse. In a city of 4 million people it's pretty easy to find better, especially being so close to DTC.....

A friend of mine flew into town yesterday and I wanted to go somewhere I hadn't before. We were going to see a movie and this place was right next to the movie theater. It was a Sunday night, and the exterior of the building seemed promising and welcoming of our visit. The Broncos just lost a terrible game so the place was extremely empty. We went into the bar area which is nice, has a slew of tables with the high style chairs and a series of rounded booths. We had been drinking most of the day, so we didn't drink here, so I can't comment on the beer.... but I can on the food. My friend got steak fajitas and I got the Faburge Burger ( which had bacon, egg, mayo, cheese, on it). I was rather disappointed in the lack of flavor in my food. The toppings made more flavor, which isn't very satisfying when you want a flavor burger with the extras to compliment it. The steak fajitas didn't pack much flavor either. It was not that they tasted bad... they just didn't have the WOW factor. Ugh. I may try this place for a game ( there are plenty of TVs) but not for a nice dinner.... The service was good!! We got check in on enough during out visit

Came in and sat in the bar area since the dining area was closed this late at night. Service was slow despite a not-so-crowded night. Our server was more interested in catching up on her conversation with the same table than bringing me my beer on three occasions. Plus we had to ask for menus three times, napkins and utensils twice. Our server was friendly enough, just not very service-oriented (and her tip reflected that). Food and beer mediocre...not sure that I would come back the next time I'm in the area....even if service was great.

Oddly, this was my first time coming here and I have driven past this place hundreds of times. I came in today for a work related lunch meeting. When I walked in, I was promptly greeted by a smiling hostess that pointed me in the direction of their event room (which is where I was headed). As I quickly glanced around the restaurant I noticed it was bright with big windows, and well placed flat screen TVs through out. The event room was a decent size and set up to accomodate about 90 people for this meeting. The only thing that struck me as odd was the large pillar that was slightly off center in the room creating a strange something. I can't really put my finger on it but I felt like it threw off the large space. Anyhoo, I digress. There was a portable bar off to one side that was set up with an assortment of soda, lemonade & water. There was a large table in the back of the room where the food was placed. The food was fine. It was a sandwich station with bread, roast beef, turkey, & ham slices, cheese, potato salad, chips and some kind of ranch dill dip to go with the chips. The potato salad was really good, made with red potatoes a hint of onion and dill (I think) and was really creamy but not overloaded with mayo possibly made with something other than mayo. No seeing as how this is the only time I've been here, I don't know if the potato salad is something that they usually serve but if they do i suggest ordering it. All the servers that were working in the event room were nice and didn't really interrupt the flow of the meeting which was nice. They came around and cleared plates as necessary and always had a smile on their faces. Even though it is a chain,I wouldn't mind coming back to check out what else the have to offer and maybe catch a game on one of the big ol' TVs they have.

All right. This place gets a 5 and it's all because of our server, Bridger. I came here with Husband and my dad for a comfortable evening meal where the men could enjoy some good beer. We recognized it and the logo because we're used to the RAM in Schaumburg, IL. On the way in I had noticed two recently-graduated high schoolers (it's amazing what you can pick up from people's conversations) and our server was talking to them like they were good friends. When he came to our table, I said, "Did you just graduate?" and everyone looked at me like I was nuts for asking that, but he said, "Yes I did!" and that opened up the conversation from there on out. There was a mistake made on my dad's meal (burger was medium rare instead of well done) and Bridger took it away immediately to get a new one. While my dad was waiting, he brought back a plate of waffle fries (the side my dad had ordered) for him to eat while waiting. My dad thought that was really great of him to do. Food overall was good. I had the fish 'n chips and it was HUGE. I ate all the fish (but not all the fried) and most of the fries. It was pretty darn good. Husband and Dad both had burgers which they polished off. In addition to fixing the problem, he also gave us a dessert on the house. We had the brownie sundae and of course I ate most of it. It was a pleasure to have such a great dining experience and to have a great waiter. I hope to be back this summer with some friends and if so, we'll definitely ask for Bridger!

Cb's is a good place to go and get a sit down meal that does not include a giant red bird or a huge gimmick. Their portions are a decent size, I ordered the Cobb salad but....... the best thing that I always get it a side of sweet potato fries. They have an extensive beer menu and all the sports on to view for enjoy but it is not one of those places that you have to worry about that you can't bring your kids in for a dinner. It is a rather large place with a bar and dining room separate from each other which is nice. Alot of people I know go and eat here before a concert at Fiddlers Green. They are a little expensive like $7.00 for a entree salad and $7.00 for a dessert for one. Overall this place is a great place to go grab a good (not extremely awesome) meal anytime.

Very overpriced for the food. They do give you a lot of food, but it isn't very good. I had the pulled pork sandwich. The bread was HUGE, I don't understand why. The pork itself was tender, but the flavor was off. It had the usual slaw, which was off too. I think it had too much Mayo?? Our salad had shredded yellow (yes yellow) cheese on it. I have no idea why . It didn't go with the salad. Someone next to me ordered the quesadillas and let me tell you, it looked awful. I don't even know how he downed it, but when you are hungry, I guess you do what you have to do. The server was OK, I kept needing a tea refill which took forever to get. I even saw one of the servers grab a tea jug and re-fill one side of the area, but skipped ours all together. Quite useless. I wouldn't back there by choice. We had a business meeting there, so we were forced to meet there, but next time, I'm skipping the .....uh....food. Save your mula and go somewhere else.

It's a chain, and pretty good. Service in this particular location is middle-of-the-road, but the folks are nice. Not much else exciting to say about it. Beer is good.

Good spot. Walking distance to my hotel, which is good! I went there 3 times BEFORE I actually ate there, so I'll start with the booze dept. They pride themselves on being a brewery, which they are. The beers cover the gamut, blond, ale, pale ale, hefe, porter.. I tried the sampler. The beers were solid, but not exceptional. None of the beers had me wanting them over any other similar styles. The prices were a bit steep on the mixed drinks, but I suppose I just had too many! Food was good. Again, nothing exceptional, but solid. I should have tried the meatloaf, but at the end of a business trip, salads and 1/2 sandwiches seem help the waistline. :) Coworkers also liked their meals, but they made a few errors, which were corrected right away. Was happy they had clam chowder as I was craving it. Going back to Denver in a few weeks, and I promise to get something more edgy than a salad, clam chowder and half a french dip. Will update then.

A friend came in from out of town late one evening, so we hit up CB&Potts to grab some dinner and drinks. I ordered the hefeweisen, which was more yeasty than I like. My friend first stuck with Mich Ultra, and then ordered us up one of the beer samplers. Beer connoisseurs we are not, so our assessments of the beer went something like this: "wow.. this tastes like lemon." "really?...." (takes a sip) "ew, citrusy" "this one tastes like espresso" "another Mich Ultra, please" So - I can't speak to whether the beer is actually quality or not. But it is cheap - individual "tasters" are free, the whole flight was 4 bucks. The bottles of Mich Ultra and my pint of hefeweisen were less than 3 bucks each. We ordered burgers: she got something with hot sauce and gorgonzola cheese, and I went with the Border burger (jalapenos and guacamole). They were good and filling, but the waffle fries were on the disappointing side. Service wasn't great, considering the time of the night and how empty the place was. The server would basically check in on us as she walked by, not actually stopping to ask how things were. It's burgers and beer in a place that's not a loud obnoxious sports bar. I'll be back.

Came for an event, so I can't speak for smaller meals. The food was acceptable but it wasn't something I'd come back for. Maybe it'll be better if I don't go with 30 other people, though? I did appreciate that we got a private room for the large event, in case that's important to people.

I took my 3 kids into this establishment for their last lunch before they go back to school on Monday. Seriously? Kids expect fries or onion rings with their burgers and I was not paying attention to the fact that they were a la cart! I ordered the dressing on the side on my salad and when the waitress brought it guess what, yep all over the salad and of course I am not comfortable sending it back because you NEVER know what happens once it leaves your sight. Are you kidding me 3 diet sodas cost me nearly $9 ( I ordered water) and the total bill with tip was $75. This is a pricey lunch to say the least. On another note this establishment totes the fact that they are a sports bar and supports all of the local schools. They hang the banners of the state colleges/universities and the local high schools with the exception of some of the schools that have come up in the past few years (10 years or newer). Really? They should keep up and not show favor.

Good food, home made chips are awesome. Great place to go for UFC. Beer is great, staff is great. Lunch sucks, it is so slow. I could walk to Heidi's in Lone Tree and back, eating my sandwich on the way and still not even be served. Surprisingly, good place to go with kids. You can sit in the dining room area and not even know you are at a bar. They do have kids specials one night of the week. Kids Menus is a bit pricey but you get huge portions, like your kid needs it? Bottom Line: Good solid food and beer, do not go for lunch.

You should be SO honored, CB & Potts. You get my first one-star! We went there with some friends since it was a Sunday night and we needed to grab a bite before arriving at the airport (and NoNo's was closed!). Chains aren't my favorite, but I'm no snob. I had lunch at Chili's the other day. And hey, you figure, at least the food will be passable and filling The four of us arrived and were seated at one of their weird half-booths. The waiter seemed pleasant enough, came and brought us water, and proceeded to spill two glasses straight into my boyfriend's lap, with some of it getting into my booth seat and soaking my jeans. He kindly moved us to another booth and provided us with some paper towels to dry ourselves (we really needed full-on towels, but whatever). And THEN he proceeded to basically ignore us. He came by the minimum amount of time. He comped my boyfriend's beer, but that was it. No manager ever talked with us, nothing was even said to me, and when my friend's order was incorrect (a basic side dish was left out), he almost acted annoyed and oddly, wordlessly, took the plate from her to get the side dish. Really, he could have gone to the kitchen and gotten a small plate WITH the side so she didn't have to wait five minutes to eat. Plus, my chicken chipotle sandwich really wasn't very good. It wasn't the waiter spilling the water that earned this one star. People are human and make mistakes, and I've had water spilled on me before in places where I'd happily dine again. But generally they've gone out of their way to make up for their blunder -- comping more than just a beer, coming by very frequently to ensure everything is OK, essentially making your table his/her #1 priority. This time, we were barely treated with normal waitstaff courtesy. I'm sorry, but at least half my grade of a restaurant is based on the service I receive, and when the food is only so-so and the service is downright terrible, you get one whopping star from me. It's really an injustice that you can get a seat at the far superior (and cheaper) No-No's fairly easily on a Fri/Sat night, and this place is supposedly packed.

Good food, decent service, but the beers all have a "sourness" to them that I find annoying.

The things I like most about CB & Potts is their beer selection and their bar area. CB & Potts is always a safe choice for watching your favorite team play - there are plenty of tv's the service is as expected, there are plenty of food options, and their beer selection will keep everyone happy.

There's something missing about CB & Potts that I couldn't put my finger on until recently. They are great at the "almost." They're almost a good microbrewery, but not quite. Their local brews are nothing to crave, nothing stands out. They're almost a hot spot, but despite the bar being crowded with people, everyone is sitting and too far away from each other to interact. The music is almost entertaining, but then becomes very strange. Every single time I've been here, the music has been a topic of convo at the table - because a strange (but not fun strange) song comes on. They almost serve good bar food, but it just suceeds at being so-so. I really wish CB was better, as I've worked up the street at two different jobs now, so I end up there a lot. Meh!

Their Angus burger is about $13 and the photo looks fat, juicy and succulent. The burger in the photo is worth $13. The burger they serve is thin and dry. Remember those old commercials where the woman says, "where's the beef?". Yeah, that small. The beer and pasta were really good though, so they get 3 stars.

Our service here was not great. It isn't the worst I've ever had but it didn't have far to go to meet that standard. We were there during happy hour and it seemed that after our food and drinks were ordered we only got checked on one more time in the two and half hours we were there. The food was alright, not exceptional but not bad... it wasn't anything I couldn't make at home or would go back just to have. I like that they have their Skinny drinks, that's a plus because most places just don't appear to care about the amount of calories they are serving up. However, you should be warned that the Skinny drinks are in part so 'Skinny' because the majority of your extra tall glass will be ice. I guess it's a pretty popular place, and I could be convinced to go back if the opportunity presented itself still you won't find me rushing in all on my own. Prices were average for this kind of establishment. The male bartenders were attractive!

Im quite surprised this hasn't been reviewed yet. It is a brewpub and a fairly large restaurant. It's a good place to have dinner and grab a beer after work. The beers here are good and it gets very crowded on Friday, Saturday nights so expect a wait if you didn't call ahead.

I've eaten lunch here many time since they first opened. Always very good food, service and atmosphere. TV screens everywhere if you want to see a game or the main sporting events. There are a nice variety of items on the menu with mostly burgers and sandwiches but there are a few entrees such as salmon, cod, mac & cheese, etc. nice beer selection (its a brew pub). I'm having fish and chips today, nicely prepared, good batter, tarter sauce but the fries were a little greasy. Once again very good meal and service.

We went to this as we were very hungry & only place which was open @10pm. We ordered the Mahi Mahi Fish Tacos which was good beyond our expectation. We were too hungry & would have eaten anything I guess. The ambience was good, we for to sit in those bunker seats which was nice. This is more on lines of BWW which caters more to beer drinkers & sports fans!!!

I had a good experince over the weekend at the Highlands Ranch location so we went there for lunch today. I felt like the server really did not do much. He did not ask what kind of side that I wanted. How I wanted the burger to be done. Did not ask what kind of salad dressing. Once I remebered I wanted sweet potatoes I asked for it. It came by it self and I asked if it comes with the burger. The guy said that is how the order was put in. Later I get fries with the burger and was charged extra. The water was never refilled.

A bunch of friends and I came here for happy hour because we heard it was great. Asked the waitress what the happy hour specials were and she said, it's on the menu and we said they weren't so she was like "umm let me go ask." That was flag one that the service was going to be horrible. After we found out what was happy hour we ordered some food and drinks. Sat there for about 20 minutes until our drinks finally came, 10 minutes later our food arrived cold. Let alone she got our order wrong as well. Had to hunt down another server to see if we could get our bill. Would not recommend this place and not coming back with that horrible service and food.

All CB Potts are consistent. Good good and selection. Good happy hour, good atmosphere, decent TV's for games although there are much better places. Never really had a bad experience or great one, very average though which is alright.

I enjoy the beer here quite a bit. I normally get the Big Horn Hefeweizen, but the other night we enjoyed a tasty pilsner not normally on the menu. I do not come here as frequently as I used to, but the food still seems to be a solid "B". I had occasion to try one of the ice cream cupcakes the other evening. I went with the muddy (mud pie) one, and it was sweet and delicious.

Went here for the UFC fights. There is a $5 cover that goes on your bill so you end up tipping on that too. The bar was packed but not over crowded, I think the cover charge keeps it tame. I had the fried shrimp and it was no bueno. The shrimp were huge but the batter was mushy. Boyfriend had wings and got no drums so was really disappointed. Decent beer prices and service was good.

If you are looking to watch sports and drink beer, this is one of many options nearby, and probably not the best. Beware the vegetarian patty for their burgers. It came out like a round, wet pile of slop. Would never order again.

If you're looking for average or below you have found it! Hot food cold seems to be their mo. Been there several times and the result is always the same, at least they are consistent! The bartender was great but didn't see a manager to address my experience. The good news is that there are plenty of dining options next time. The beer is good, that's always a plus! I had the pale ale and it was fantastic!

Very disappointed in the quality of food. We both ordered salads and they were to simple. The salad dressing was tasteless. The price is over the top. $12.00 for a salad, come on. I will never eat here again.

If you've ever been to a Ram restaurant and are having feelings of deja vu upon entering CB & Potts, do not be alarmed; they are in fact the same restaurant... for all practical purposes. That said, the experience here is about average. They have some good home brew and a few of the dishes are very good. The wait staff is hit or miss. The building itself is pretty nice. It has a sort of... cathedral feeling to it. Regardless, it has a cool atmosphere and roomy feeling.

  • Emilee D.

The service here is fast and efficient even when busy. That's always nice. The food is kind of hit or miss though. Avoid the calamari, it had a weird taste to it and was over salted. The strange chili sauce that comes with it made it even worse. The winning dish is the parm crusted cod. It's a huge cod filet swimming in a delicious cream sauce. It's served alongside some wilted spinach and a quinoa pilaf. Yummy! For dessert, I tried the cheesecake. It came with a strawberry topping. It was good, but tasted store bought. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here, but it's a great place to hangout if you're attending a concert at Fiddler's Green.

This is one of the spots for my office where people go for lunch and happy hour all the time. There's usually room to move around at lunch, but the bar gets pretty packed for happy hour. This place was just okay for me. Food-wise it's similar to a Red Robin or a TGI Friday's I think. Just your average american fare. That being said, I do enjoy their food. I had a California style sandwich the last time it was there and it was quite good. I definitely don't mind going there for office lunches.

So disappointed! We went there for date night. The hostess was rude and sat us in the bar without even asking if we wanted to sit there. We told the waitress that we have a special diet and needed to make a few changes, she rolled her eyes. We ordered New York steak, it was very fatty. We asked for Splenda for our iced teas and received two packets about 20 min. later. Then after telling the waitress that we were trying to lose weight, she asked if we wanted dessert. Obviously, she wasn't listening to anything we said. Poor service and poor quality food. We won't be back.

This place is CRAZY after a show at Fiddler's Green. Good luck getting a table and if you are a girl and have to pee, you should have hit up the port-a's on the way. But, the beer is awesome, they are open late, and if you can get a table, it's a great place to chill and wait for the traffic to die down. Also, I went here on my birthday after a show and realized that they have just about the most magical birthday cake, ever! It's a funnel cake with ice cream and chocolate syrup! How flippin awesome is that?

This place is totally clueless... The only reason I come here is for a wild-caught sockeye salmon dish, but after this visit, I'd rather eat heavy metal-filled farm raised salmon. They seem to have a blatant aversion to cooking the salmon completely - even when I always order it well-done. (Although to cook it to rare to medium-rare takes them 30 to 45 minutes cook time, every time. Skip this place unless you love terrible service, pitifully-prepared food, nearly-unidentifiable drinks, and blaring music that you have to YELL over to have any hope of being heard by friends. Hell no - no more!!!

French dip sandwich and lettuce wrap burger both got good reviews. I didn't care for the house made potato chips -- too thick, but my wife liked the sweet potato fries. Huge open space with hundreds of patrons. Service decent. Wine list disappointing (very limited + very expensive for mediocre wines). Beer list better with some house made choices. Good spot for a burger and a beer after or before seeing a movie next door. Lots of TV's and would also be a decent spot to watch a game.

Standard bar fare with attempts to elevate like tarragon dressing on a iceberg wedge with candied pecans and Gorgonzola crumbles, ice cream cup cakes, monte cristos. Good beers, too. Plenty of TVs for any sport you may want to take in..though their soundtrack could use some updating. Bathrooms were surprisingly dirty with an Out of Order stall and broken toilet paper dispenser at noon on a Saturday when the place wasn't at all busy. Overall, if you're in the DTC area and need a quick bite near I-25, this is a decent alternative to Rock Bottom and other dime a dozen brewery restaurants which seem to crowd Colorado.

I actually hadn't been here in a really long time, but some girlfriends and I decided to stop by on a Friday night. I like the beer selection here but it isn't anything mind blowing. We didn't have any food but I know I've eaten here in the past and thought the food was fine. It's a bar, the bar area is good for hanging out, they have booths and some tall tables with TVs around the bar. I'd definitely go back for some beers but it's not at the top of my list. In the area I'd rather go to LoDo or somewhere with a roof top patio :).

I had their faburge burger, it was awesome! I also had what they called an Angry Blonde beer, which was half hard apple cider and half blonde ale, all I can say is I almost didn't go to the Rockies game to stay and keep drinking those, really good.
